10 Minute Sweet Potato Chips
Sure, microwaves don’t generate the same results as the oven. But the oven isn’t nearly has fast and easy ;)
Take a sweet potato, wash the outside, and slice it up reeeeal thin. Spread out evenly on a plate. Try not to let them overlap too much, as that’s how moisture will build. Season with whatever you like – my mainstays are salt and something spicy like chili powder. Microwave on high for 5 minutes, flip over, and zap for another five.
Let cool until they harden and get crispy. Voila! Near-instant sweet potato chips! I like dipping them in ketchup as a side with burgers. But you can always save them for snacking on later too ;)
