Blogger Interview Series – Tamzin

Hi everyone! Susan here! Welcome to the first post of my new Blogger Interview Series. Healthy living bloggers answer the same 10 questions about their blogging habits. I don’t know about you guys, but I often wonder about the process of blogging itself.

The series kicks of with Tamzin from Salad and Sequins. I am absolutely in love with Tamzin’s blogging and photography style. I find it to be very “whimsical.” And living in the UK, she eat things I can only drool over from a distance, and completely unique things like beets dipped in hummus ;) Enjoy!

1. Quick! Describe your blog in 6 words!

Health and fitness can be fun!

2. How did you come up with your blog name?

Hmmmm I wanted something that got to the point but let people know I like to be healthy but I also like some sparkle in my life too!

3. What attracted you to blogging?

I’ve been blogging for ages but my first blog was just not working for me, then after reading some foodie blogs I just knew that it was exactly the route I wanted to go. I love exercise I love healthy food and I love talking about it so it just made sense. I also love that fact that I can write down my feelings and air them out and get so much positive fed back from such wonderful people

4. What surprised you about blogging?

I am surprised that I have got to know so many great ladies, I have never had a blogger meet up but I love that I have found so many people that like and love the same things as me. Friends think I’m crazy but I now know there are others that love seeds and exercise its fab!

5. What do you do for content ideas?

I just take something from each day and hope its not boring!

6. Blogging is a big time commitment – what makes it worth it to you?

I just love putting a little bit of me out there for people to see, it is a big commitment and having time off sometimes makes you feel guilty its crazy! But I get so much from it and love to have it as a commitment

7. What hobbies did you have before you started blogging?

I used to sit about not really doing much I think!? I can’t seem to remember what i used to do!

8. What is one secret you’ve thus far conveniently kept off your blog?

I have a couple of major secrets I’ve been bursting to tell my readers but its still not time yet, you’ll have to keep reading to find out!

9. What do your friends and family think of your blogging habits?

Not many of my friends know about my blog. I have mention it but they’re so not into health and fitness or blogging for that matter so they just know I have one. They sometimes think I’m kinda crazy for taking pictures of my food but I’m getting used to the odd stares I get!

10. What other blogger inspires you?

My sister inspires me she has a fabulous blog called Lobster and Swan. It is totally different from mine, it is beautiful and stylish! Jes is my inspiration in many ways probably because she’s my older sister!

Another blog I love and never get bored of reading is Meals and Moves. Janetha has such an amazing outlook and fresh approach to exercise and food I enjoy all her posts she is also and inspiration to me!
